Growing up in a real estate family, Will’s interest in development began at an early age. His diverse work and educational background gives him the unique ability to view projects through a unique lens atypical than that of a “traditional” lawyer. His experience in leasing, zoning and entitlements, acquisition and disposition, investment management, title and survey, and underwriting allows him to provide clients with all sort of advice—legal advice included—in facilitating the most unique and complex projects. He is determined to get all projects closed in a timely and financially-feasible manner.
Before joining Underhill & Hodge full time in 2022 (after serving as the firm’s law clerk while in law school), Will was an attorney at a boutique real estate firm specializing in commercial leases and all ancillary items, acquisitions and dispositions, title and survey review, and commercial development agreements. Before his “law career,” Will worked for a large retailer’s real estate department in capital allocation for investing in new or renovated retail stores. Will is also a licensed title agent and is well-versed in resolving and curing title objections to bring all deals to close smoothly.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll most likely find him working on his short game in warmer months or playing platform tennis in the winter.
